Position Summary:
The Sales Operations Assistant Manager will play a critical part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Sales Team, focusing on our 2 brands Mustela and Babo Botanicals, for the US territory. This is a new role in the team, supporting account managers in executing their sales plans, facilitating smooth and consistent processes across accounts around sales reporting, inventory monitoring, internal forecasting and items set up. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency in excel and a collaborative mindset.

Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
  • Account reporting: create and maintain internal reports to track key accounts’ structural data to support Account Managers in a cohesive approach: sell-in (account’s purchases), inventory levels, sell-out (account’s sales), and external forecasts when available.
  • Pricing Support: Assist in the execution and active monitoring of pricing policies.
  • Expense Tracking & Reconciliation: Monitor monthly sales and promotional expenses, partnering with Sales and Finance teams to record accruals, reconcile delayed invoices (for both regular and promotional activities), and resolve discrepancies. Act as a liaison with retailers to address variances, verify expense classifications, and ensure accurate financial closure.
  • New item / customer set up: assist in the administrative set-up of new items and / or new accounts, as well as in the maintenance of customers’ and service providers’ portals (WERCS, IX One..).
  • Documentation & Reporting: Ensure all sales-related documentation is up to date and easily accessible to the full team.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, supply chain, and finance to further support sales plans and resolve any operational challenges.
  • Budget management support: assist with internal invoice submission for the sales team, as well as with the tracking of sales expenses.
  • Additional support as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales support and/ or sales operations in the CPG industry.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills and advanced Excel skills are necessary.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of major retail channels, particularly the operational side of working with national retailers and e-commerce platforms is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the personal care or beauty industries is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
Our competitive compensation and benefits package includes the following (please note that the benefits listed are subject to change):
  • Salary range of $65,000 – $85,000 based on location, job-specific knowledge, education, skills and depth of professional experience.
